Athletes will develop the following skills

Understand the disability services landscape
Understand the the different types of disabilities
Develop tools to support mentoring programs
How to maximise the effectiveness of programs with youth groups
How to respond to problems at a volunteer
Understanding the expectations of working as a volunteer
Identify the impact of own emotions on others in the workplace
Recognise and address the emotional strengths and weaknesses of others
Promote the development of emotional intelligence in others
Utilise emotional intelligence to maximise team outcomes

Athletes have the option to enrol and gain the following units of competence listed below with our RTO partner Grow Learning (RTO:45109)​
